When one of your best friends gets married, it's pretty much your duty to throw a rockin' party in her honor. Amy is getting married in October, and it's time to start planning her "last night out."
Usually, these nights consist of a bunch of girls getting together, getting free shots, totally plastered and hanging themselves all over with suggestive plastic ornaments. Now we're not the most classy girls in the world (read: many a Saturday night is spent with the Amy/Carolyn special - extra cheese pizza, breadsticks, Coke, beer and a bad chick movie). But for Amy's Last Night, we're going to try to instill a little class (no plastic male parts on our persons) and a lot of good friends (so we're including some of the male persuasion).
I'm still trying to come up with some ideas for exactly what to do. Good thing the rest of the bridal party is qualified for this kind of thing! Requirements: No Howl at the Moon, no gay bars (they can't get married, why should we flaunt it??), and a lot of alcohol. And whilst Googling my little heart out, Amy sent me this.
I'm not a huge sports fan, but I love Cubs games. How fun would this be for a bachelorette party? And if you're so inclined after the game, there's about 8,000 bars on Clark to hit up. Now granted, it's pretty pricey, but if you calculate the cost of a ticket to the game, plus all the food you get, it's totally worth it.
Oh, by the way. You may absolutely rest assured that I will force Amy to wear this on the big night. Something to look forward to.
stay fab,
carolyn
