Attention brides: Before you buy stamps for all of your wedding material, check to make sure that the postage rate isn't going up any time soon. Like, the week after you order the stamps, for instance.
Also, don't order stamps through the postal service. They suck. I know, they're the postal service. You'd think if any company could sucessfully mail something, it would be them. Well you would be wrong. Go to a branch (preferably not one in the city...trust me) and purchase them right there.
Just a word to the wise, from me to you. :)

That is such great advice! We wanted to buy the cute heart stamps for our invites so my parents and I were by a few at a time and then when I went to buy all that I needed I found out that stamps were going up...of course it was another customer that told me not the worker. Go figure :)
ReplyDeleteFrom what I hear, it's also quite hard to find people to hand-cancel your invites so they aren't damaged in the machine. It's worth the time, though, if you are spending significant amounts of money on your invitations. This vendor has a good example of what can happen:
