The conference.

Last weekend, Amy and I adventured to Indiana for the regional ABC conference! It was a wonderful road trip full of show tunes and we learned a lot, namely that joining the Association of Bridal Consultants was one of the best business moves we've made so far.

Firstly, the hotel was absolutely adorable! Very interesting color scheme that somehow worked - lime green, deep red, black and white. Loved it! If you go to Columbus, IN, you should stay at the Hotel Indigo.

We settled in, then had several sessions on Saturday. We learned it's appropriate to eat asparagus with your fingers in Etiquette, that people in Indiana had no idea photo booths were all the rage as Add-Ons, and that it takes a LOT of work to become a Master Bridal Consultant.

Someday. Someday.

On Sunday, we headed out to a sweet little winery where the most valuable session to us was on pricing, fees and packages. We will soon be sitting down together to re-vamp everything we offer and how we've been pricing. We also made some very good contacts and met some awesome ladies.

Thank goodness for the ABC! National conference in Phoenix in November? Oh yes, I think so.

stay fab,

carolyn
