More pretty pictures! Our couple Sharon and Ted are pretty unique. Sharon is in Seoul for the duration of their engagement and Ted is in NYC. We FINALLY met them a few weeks ago after planning from afar and can't wait for their October nuptials at the James!

Last Saturday, I did a little halfsies coordination for an old friend of mine, Kelley Gloor. She requested that I camp out at the venue, the Rockford Art Museum, to meet vendors and set a few things up. Her choice of venue was brilliant - the whole thing was stunning and had a really nice feel. Friday squee.

I found this sweetness in the Red Eye this morning. I guess this guy does something in the sports section, which I generally pass by completely. But I saw the words "Will you marry me" and stopped.

I hope she says yes! Well first, I hope she finds this. Then reads it, then goes outside of her office to get her ring man. How exciting. I hope they follow up!

In other news, Amy and I are gearing up for upcoming weddings and the Chicago Bridal Expo. We're hoping we fill our 2011 calendar...

The Biggest "Aaawww!" Factor There Is...

When you're a bride, choosing attendants can be very simple. You want to chose the friends who have been there for you, whom you've known the longest or with whom you have the strongest friendship. Sometimes...that's your dog.

Our most recent couple, Cheryl and Chris, chose to have their dog, Gracie, be the ring bearer in their wedding. They own the dog together and have for a few years, and she is an important part of their lives together. We thought it was awesome. Especially because they went about it the right way - their ceremony was in an outdoor space that of course allowed dogs, and she was handled by her awesome dog walker, Sasha, the entire time. She was extremely well-behaved, and Cheryl and Chris were so happy to have her there with them on their big day. Photos of Gracie and much more from their gorgeous wedding coming soon!
