AELO has built a pretty significant base of awesome vendors over the last year and a half, but one area where we seem to be lacking is paper goods. Luckily, I have a friend from college who is an absolutely brilliant artist, and he's doing the invitations for this wedding in December.
Check out John's fantastic work here: www.thebungaloo.com.

Obama's still the man, guys.
"I believe there are too many children who need loving parents to deny one group of people adoption rights. A child will benefit from a healthy, loving home, whether the parents are gay or not."
— Barack Obama (via Gay Writes)
This is why I still love and support this man.

WGN Royal Wedding
Clearly, the world has gone banana sandwich over Wills and Kate finally getting married (those of us in the know [read: who had giant crushes on the gorgeous prince at 15] are aware that all of his friends call him Wills).
Well good news, Chicago couples! WGN TV is giving away a Royal Wedding and you can enter the contest here. Here's the catch - audience vote is going to decide on all decor options, including flowers and the dress. If you are willing to relinquish the control, a $60,000 wedding could be all yours!
And you'll probably meet Pat Tomasulo, which is a secret dream of mine. Happy contesting!
